Nokia 5800 Vs Nokia N97?
Anyone who likes touchscreen phones should be excited; the most well known face in the industry has announced not one, but TWO mobile phones: the sleek Nokia 5800 and the completely jaw-dropping Nokia N97.
Phones we'd rather forget – Nokia touchscreen mobile phones in the past
A lot of people are under the false assumption that the Nokia 5800 is the first touchscreen phone to wear the Nokia label. It isn't. The opposite's true, because there have been a few touch-based phones to wear the Nokia name. Starting with the 7700, we've seen a couple of Nokia mobile phones which are controlled by you prodding and poking the screen. They all had reasonably big (for their time) screens, but the other feature they had in common, unfortunately, was that they were utterly rubbish. Only one of those handsets, the 6708, displayed any promise, but that was destined exclusively to be sold in China, and thus, it never saw the light of day in Britain. So, we were relegated to handsets that were utter, and complete bobbins.
However, these unpleasant memories have now been exorcised by the debut of two new Nokia mobile phones, both of which come with touchscreens, and both of which are much, much nicer...
Nokia 5800 - if music be the food of love...
First up is a whole new member of Nokia's Xpress line of music mobile phones, the mouth-watering Nokia 5800. This one's quite obviously made for music and video; you can tell by the separate XpressMedia touch-key that opens a list of shortcuts to music, videos, the web, and so on. Oh, and the Nokia 5800 has a 3.2 inch touchscreen, to let you muck about with those different media content. Basically, the Nokia 5800 was created to be a little handheld jukebox and movie player, and as music handsets go, this is just about the sweetest. The Nokia 5800 has also got a 3 megapixel camera, HSDPA internet connection and sat-nav, so that it's a wonderful all-rounder, on top of being a superb media player. Oh, and it has a strap to clip on a fake guitar pick. That's pretty cool, that.
However, the Nokia 5800 is very definitely a mid-range device; it isn't, nor was it ever meant to be, an absolute top-ender. That position goes to another handset...
Nokia N97 - the single best phone EVER made?
With the Nokia 5800 all set to bring touchscreen mobile phones to the mid-range market, that leaves a very big gap at the very top-end, and yes, there IS a touchscreen mobile phone waiting to be unleashed to fill that gap: the utterly awesome Nokia N97. This uses the same Symbian S60 Touch operating system and crams it inside the body of a proper, full-tilt smartphone. Which means it has an even more huge, 3.5 inch screen, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and the camera now weighs in at a meaty 5 megapixels. The Nokia N97 is, obviously, destined to be the new flagship Nseries mobile phone, and it really is as high-spec as we'd heard from rumours, with HSDPA, sat-nav, digital compass, and integrated Flash, meaning you get an internet experience that tops any other mobile phones! Put simply the Nokia N97 is simple incredible. It gleefully relieves itself over other mobile phones and as the Nokia 5800 angles firmly for the mid-range, I'm predicting that the Nokia N97 will totally DESTROY the competition in 2009!
T-Mobile G1 Vs Blackberry Storm: The Battle of "Best of The Best" Mobile Phone
Two touch-screen heavyweights are lining up to go to war soon. Both of them are billed as the best of the best, and both are unique mobile phones in their own way. So let's take a look at which will win: T-Mobile G1 or Blackberry Storm.
T-Mobile G1 - the world's first Google Android phone
Announced at the beginning of October, the T-Mobile G1 marks the coming of a brand new operating system: Google Android. No other phones have ever used this system before, it is fair to say that it is generating quite a lot of interest. Remember, that is hardly surprising, since the T-Mobile G1 is a full-screen cell phone that obviously seems to be out to steal iPhone's thunder. And you know what? It succeeds, and makes for a far more appealing mobile phone! The new Android interface in the T-Mobile G1 is smooth, sexy and fast, so it is an absolute joy to use, and with additional features such as 3-megapixel camera, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, super-fast Internet access up to 7.2Mbps, and built-in GPS, T-Mobile G1 is really an enticing prospect for anyone who loves the touch-screen cell phones.
Blackberry Storm - all new power at your fingertips
Meanwhile, from developers RIM, we have a different touch-screen cell phone, and while the T-Mobile G1 may have a new operating system to boast about, the new BlackBerry Storm has an entirely new kind of touchscreen. Basically, if you press down on the screen in the Blackberry Storm, it moves ever so slightly, and clicks. The effect is unbelievable; put simply, typing an e-mail on the BlackBerry Storm's virtual onscreen keyboard, feels like you have a physical keyboard with real buttons! How many other mobile phones can you say that about? In relation to the additional functions, the Blackberry Storm is no slouch, with its camera, Internet and GPS information is fairly similar to those on the T-Mobile G1.
But which is the mobile phone you should buy? When you get right down to it, which one is better?
T-Mobile G1 vs. Blackberry Storm - which should you buy?
While the similarities between the T-Mobile G1 and the Blackberry Storm are there, these two cell phones are nothing like any other. Each has different software functions and so on, but it will comes to a case of which one feels the best to use. However, we must to address the fact that the T-Mobile G1 will give you access to loads of applications and music through its online marketplace and the Amazon MP3Store. So, in terms of content, the T-Mobile G1, the better bet. However ... when you talk about which of these mobile phones is the best to use, and looks the best, and which one you will enjoy using more, then there can only be one clear winner. The BlackBerry Storm is, quite frankly, one of the finest cell phones ever made. The T-Mobile G1 may let you can fill it with the software and music, but you can still get software for the BlackBerry Storm, and it is indeed a far, far nicer cell phone. Without a doubt, that's the baby I'd go for!

Sony Ericsson K850i Duel With Sony Ericsson S500i - You Select Which?
Comparing cell phones, that you can buy can be a nightmare. What is popular with two mobile phones on the market today, Sony Ericsson K850i and the Sony Ericsson S500i.
First Sony Ericsson K850i, this mobile phone is a nice looking mobile phones, trendy and stylish will enable people to impress you! Plus, it is a member of the Cybershot family, released by Sony Ericsson, which means it has a lot of these cool features on the camera. And that means it also has a large 5.0-megapixel camera, giving you great pictures. Plus this really ingenious feature named best picture, the phone will take 9 shots in a second and you can pick the best of all these out to keep! Memory is offered 40 MB of memory, but can be extended with a simple purchase of a memory card. There are three different colors, but they are not fully phone colors and only a slight emphasis, so that they don't really change the look all that much. The colors are bright green, velvet blue and black quicksilver.
On the other hand, the Sony Ericsson S500i mobile phone is also a very sleek and trendy mobile phone looking to impress the people! The camera is not as beautiful as the K850i, is a standard 2.0 mega-pixel camera. Although this still give you good shots, the phone with a 5.0 megapixel camera gives you sharper pictures. This is lightweight coming in at only 94 grams, which is close to the lightest looked at during our reviews. You have an abundance of picks, for colors, including the mysterious green, purple ice, contrast, copper, spring yellow, steel and silver. With 12 MB of memory can be expanded with a simple purchase of a memory card, this should not create a problem for you.
Both mobile phones are really good. You should decide what the most benefits you are looking for and see which offers the best choice. An example would be if you have the nice pictures to go with the higher megapixel camera choice. This has the advantage of giving you great pictures, if you want!
But overall both phones are fairly matched and no clear winner could be picked up between them. If you opt for color, you need the Sony Ericsson S500i, it's a great phone with some really cool colors that you can buy it in.
Of course, if you look at cell phones, you should connect with a mobile phone company and see whether they have any really good mobile phone deals to offer you. The best decision would be to go with the cheaper of the two phones when getting into a phone contract with the mobile phone company. But this is really just common sense. However if you happen to like one more than the other and the price difference is something you can handle go for your first choice. This way you will be sure to be happy with your new mobile phone.

Sony Ericsson G900 Vs Nokia N96 - Which is the Multimedia King?
Multimedia is a massive selling point in modern mobile phones. Music, video, photos ... Everything goes in the direction of a mobile phone is considered the best of the best. Let's take a look at the shootout between two multimedia giants: the Nokia N96 and Sony Ericsson-G900.
Nokia N96 - N95 receives "sleekified"
Nokia Nseries with their mobile phones, have a reputation for delivering the goods. If you want a real power package multimedia experience, a Nokia Nseries mobile will deliver. The new, upcoming flagship of superlatives for this area of multimedia phones is the Nokia N96 alarmingly sexy, and crikey, it's beautiful! Let's start with the appearance because Nokia have dropped the hard edges and corners from the N95 and N96 in view of the flowing curves, corners rounded, shiny and panels. Or in other words, they have almost identical to the N81. That is not necessarily a bad thing, as the N81 was pretty nice, but it would be nice to see how a high-power handset have a design that was not recycled from older phones. Ah well.
Features-wise, but there are none on, for example, this is Nokia's most powerful mobile-to-date, packing in 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA, 16 GB of memory, GPS to masses and masses of multimedia options, including some really sweet touches like the little kickstand that Nokia, on the back of the phone, they can rely on their own, while you watch it like a TV. I have not seen that in all other mobile phones, and it is a really nice little touch of Nokia. All in all, the Nokia N96 is a rear of a powerful mobile phone.
Sony Ericsson G900 - Smartphone for the masses
But is the new Sony Ericsson G900 going to steal the thunder Nokia N96? Is it indeed a better phone?
Well, to be honest, this fight is that it goes on down to the judges. It is really really hard right to decide which of these two Juggernauts is best. The Nokia N96 is packed to the gills with function by function, after the function, but the Sony Ericsson G900 match it feature for feature (with the exception of the sheer size of Nokia's built-in memory), but it's trump card by touchscreen , And although might be superfluous, it is something that I have always said, mobile phones benefit, and that is certainly the case, as it has little to let things cool down, as you stick virtual post-it notes for Sony Ericsson Screen. As I have said before, but this is a fight that is really difficult to call because these two mobile phones are so evenly matched. In fact, I reckon that if you like Nokia, you may prefer the N96. But if you like Sony Ericsson, you'll favour of the G900. You may not be inferred very helpful, but at least it is correct!
Mobile Phone Shootout - the Sony Ericsson C905 Vs the Samsung I8510 Innov8
Mobile phones with 5 megapixels are sooo 2007, since 2008, we will see, mobile phones, the 8-megapixel cameras integrated into their DNA. Starting the ball rolling, two major competitors, the Sony Ericsson Samsung C905 and the i8510 innov8.
Sony Ericsson C905 - Cyber-shot perfection
Unveiled in July, the Sony Ericsson C905 is the 8-megapixel phone announced in the UK. And what a great handset is how it is not only the 8 mega pixels, the reason is that it is a Cyber-shot phone. That tells us a few facts: 1 / Sony Ericsson C905 is frighteningly powerful, 2 / photos will be good enough to punch a hole through time, 3 / no other camera phones is even close to it (hmmm, Really? Well, we'll see about that in a second). Sony Ericsson have really made a masterpiece here with a sliding form factor, these mobile beauty is a very sexy feel. In addition to the looks, you have the list of incredible features, kicking off surprising that with 8-megapixel camera, quickly followed by a superb media player, integrated GPS, HSDPA and WiFi.
But ... it is something the Sony Ericsson C905 is not. Despite this long list of features, it is not a smartphone. If we find an 8-Megapixel Smartphone, we have elsewhere.
Samsung i8510 innov8 - The intelligent weapon
Actually, we look at the Samsung i8510 innov8 the next 8-megapixel phone, for the United Kingdom. Apart from this baby is a smart phone. Also, it has a brilliant 8-megapixel camera, media player, blisteringly fast Web and the like, but the handset built on Symbian Series 60, the same as Nokia's series of "smart" mobile phones. This means that on top of the standard software and applications by using this mobile phone you can install loads more. In other words, it will give you, essentially, install any additional software you can think (and I bet that if you want to visualize a function from your mobile phone, someone has written a program to do it!) The Samsung i8510 is, in other words, a breathtaking God a phone.
The question, however, is the better phone: Sony Ericsson or Samsung?
Vs Samsung Sony Ericsson - will win?
Consider it ... Things were looking rosy for Sony Ericsson, Samsung and the fair turned, basically, because these two phones shares a nearly identical 8-megapixel camera module, so that the image quality of both, for all practical purposes, and the same. This is not good for Sony Ericsson, but it is for Samsung because the i8510 hammers the C905 on other details. A "Feature Phone, a mobile phone which is basically a normal telephone with bits stuck together, not only the best Smartphone, a determined and designed to have more power, even in the field. Therefore, if these phones next to each other ... well, I do not like to say (I am a Sony Ericsson mother), but the Samsung i8510 offers the Sony Ericsson C905 proper kicking!
